The Aries Full Moon is upon us this evening & I am happy to announce that the first stretch goal has successfully been met!
With every Deck of Shadow Light Tarot will be an extra 10 cards consisting of the Tee Of Life, Four Directions, and the 5 custom 'Champion' cards based off the Become-A-Tarot-Card reward available during this Kickstarter campaign.
The next goal for upgrading to a special Magnetic Box is even closer now, with the final stretch goal being a travel-sized mini Tarot deck titled Wander Light Tarot. Everything is coming together beautifully & those sharing the campaign to help bring awareness to it are doing your part to help reach these goals. Making this release the best it can be is in sight as the Kickstarter campaign syncs with the moon cycle coming to a close at the next New Moon.

Just over a week into the Kickstarter campaign and the project has raised it's projected funding of $11,111!
With still 20 days to go, there is plenty of time to reach the various stretch goals I have set to truly make the most of this print run. I am excited to finish up this week with the Bonus cards, as well finalize all the art & illustrated charts for the Companion Book. Everything is falling into place beautifully & if the momentum builds, I will then move forward preparing Wander Light Tarot for production!
I am blessed to connect with so many who share the dream of culminating this Tarot deck. I was so drawn to create it to make something as unique as it is exist into being.

I was recently asked a question that inspired me to open up regarding Shadow Light Tarot’s future.
Shadow Light Tarot has been a vision I set out as an artist to birth into being. From it’s first remnants coming into awareness to the completion of hand illustrating all the cards, it has been a personal passion project that was truly in tune to who I am as an artist on a soul level. Having the opportunity self-publish it allows that full spectrum of creative freedom to carry on so that each individual release would be unique & special.
Pledging the Kickstarter not only guarantees you'll receive this incarnation of Shadow Light Tarot & assist in its production, but are providing support to work full time on what’s next to come. Allowing yourself to experience & take part in this one of a kind divinative creation, is an artist’s dream come true. After the Kickstarter completes, I will be fulfilling all rewards and any funding remaining from fulfilling those orders will go towards producing a limited number of standard editions that will be made available in a yet-to-be-created Waking Canvas online shop for it's non-Kickstarter exclusive price. As I am only able to fund & print this deck through crowdfunding support, this will likely be the only production of the current incarnation of Shadow Light Tarot.
As some may be aware, this is the first in a series of illustrated Divinative Decks I plan to culminate - each covering a particular body of knowledge & divinitive purpose. The next deck, titled Astro Light Oracle, is an 120 Card Deck currently in development & those who receive the screen printed Altar Cloth are already getting a tease for the deck’s starry topic. With illustrating Astro Light Oracle being my next focus, the current production of Shadow Light Tarot will serve as both a limited run release & a support mechanism to help culminate this new deck into being. The deck will also serve as an Expansion to Shadow Light Tarot, as well as a beneficial tool for both upcoming & experienced Astrologers. For those interested, I have already begun sharing exclusive progress of the Deck with patrons of the Waking Canvas Patreon page.
As stated, I do not have any plans to print this incarnation of Shadow Light Tarot beyond this release. Even if it is potentially included as a paired reward in my next deck’s crowdfunding campaign, the included additions, bonuses, & presentation from the Kickstarter will hold to be unique & one of a kind. If Shadow Light Tarot were to receive any future incarnations, not only would this be far far down the road but it will likely appear very different than what you see before you today as I would like to branch out into producing variants & other expansions if opportunity allows.

I am honestly awe-struck by the amount of support that has brought Shadow Light Tarot to reach over 40% of funding. So much gratitude towards all of you who have resonated & have taken part to help the culmination of my new tarot deck.
I am coming across many who are discovering my hand illustrated tarot cards for the first time & the responses are honestly leaving me speechless as an artist, more so to see such passionate work be receptive to good spirits.
All of the $44 Early-Bird specials have been fulfilled and the $55 Early-Bird reward is going quick. The Kickstarter campaign will continue for the remainder of the moon cycle & hope to reach beyond the goal to truly take the Tarot deck into its truest of vision.
